Following general patient dissatisfaction with the phone system in our patient survey, all the practices at St Pauls agreed to update our phone system to a more modern digital system.

You will then be given 4 options
Press 1 for Doctors Appointments
Press 2 for Nurses Appointments
Press 3 for Repeat Prescriptions
Press 4 for Enquiries

Once you are familiar with these options and know which one you want, then when you call the main number, wait until you hear the first bit of music, then once the person starts to say "You are now connected to St Catherine's Surgery" you can immediately press the option you want. You do not have to wait and listen to the whole message.

Please note these are local rate numbers, that are charged at 4.2p per minute from a landline. Charges will vary from a mobile depending on your supplier, but are still local calls.

We realise that with any major change there will be some inital hiccups, but please bear with us because we are sure the system will work more efficiently and to patients benefit, once you are accustomed to it.
