St catherine's has considered increasing opening times to offer more choice to patients in line with recent Government suggestions.

We have canvassed a percentage of our patient list to ascertain any preference for this trial and have considered that 'an evening and saturday monring surgery' would be our patient choice.

Therefore, with effect from Tuesday October 14th the St Catherine's Surgery will open to offer an evening surgery from 6.30 - 8.00pm and a saturday monring from 8 - 11.30 am for a trial period of 6 months.

Both Surgeries will be appointment only with a Doctor
There will be no laboratory service for bloods tests etc, no telephone service and no collection of prescription service.

ALL EMERGENCIES will continue to go straight through to the OUT of Hours Service as at present and cannot ne seen in these extra surgeries.
