Waiting Times
Doctors & Nurses try to see patients at their appointment time. However this is not always possible, for example due to an emergency. We aim to see patients within 30 mins. If there
is likely to be a delay the receptionist will inform you.
Repeat Prescribing
A repeat prescription is a prescription which has been previously approved for repeat by a Doctor
If you order a repeat prescription in person, or by telephoning the main surgery number - 0844 477 8961, & selecting Option 3 - between 9.00 and 12.30, it will be ready for collection after 2.00pm the following day.
Visits
Please ask for a home visit by a Doctor only when you feel it is truly necessary, particularly at night.
We do understand that sometimes you may be too ill to attend the surgery and we would appreciate your request before 10.00am where possible.
Requests for visits after this will need to be discussed with the Doctor who will give advice and assess the urgency.
Records and Patient Data
Your health records, both written and on computer, will be kept confidential.
It will assist us if we always have the correct information about our patients. If you change your name, move to a new address or alter your telephone number, please let us know as soon as possible.
Incorrect information could result in inability to contact you to alter an appointment or to arrange follow-up if we receive abnormal test results.
Comments, Suggestions and Complaints
These will be dealt with by our in-house complaints procedure. We want to improve services and we therefore welcome any comments you may have.
If you have any suggestions, please contact the Practice Manager, or e mail us using the 'feedback form' link. We will undertake to give you a written reply within 3 working days, if appropriate.
