How Do I Make An Appointment?
You can make a routine appointment with the Doctor or Nurse by phoning the surgery or coming into surgery when reception is open:
You have a right to express a preference of practitioner and we will do our best to give you an appointment with the Doctor of your choice. Should your preferred Doctor not have a free appointment you will be offered an appointment with one of the other GP's in the practice.
You will never be refused to see a Doctor if one is available however all requests of urgent appointments will be triaged by our team of Nurse Practitioners. If you no longer need your appointment please let us know.
Please remember that appointments are for ONE person only.
How Do I Make A Same Day Urgent Appointment?
We operate a Nurse Triage System for Same Day/Urgent Appointments. If you express a preference for a same day/urgent appointment your request will be dealt with by one of our experienced Nurse Practitioners. All our Nurse Practitioners are highly qualified in Triage, the Treatment of Minor Illness and Injury, as well as being able to prescribe. The Triage Nurse will phone you back on the phone number of your choice depending on the nature of your illness will provide you with the most appropriate treatment, this can include a same day GP Appointment.
If you are expecting a call from the Triage Nurse please ensure you keep your nominated phone line free, be aware this is from a withheld number.
