PNEUMOCCAL VACCINATIONS

All patients 65 years and over are entitled to a Pneumococcal vaccination, which protects against some types of pneumonia. Most of over 65 year old patients will have already had this jab. You usually only need it done once, it is not an annual vaccination. Visit the NHS Website for more information

 

SHINGLES VACCINATIONS

We have been informed that patients born within the following date ranges will be entitled to a shingles vaccination (please note that the eligibility changes every year);

  •  2nd September 1936 to 1st September 1937 (79 years old)
  • 2nd September 1937 to 1st September 1938 (78 years old)
  • 2nd September 1942 to 1st September 1945 (71 to 73 years old)
  • 2nd September 1945 to 1st September 1946 (70 years old)
